EMT-Basic is the entry-level position in the emergency medical services field. In three months time, you can learn the skills you will need to work as part of a medical response team. Medics make a difference… every day.
In order to enroll in our EMT programs, a student must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. We do work in partnership with select high schools where their EMT-Basic students do not meet these requirements. However, the students must meet these requirements before being able to take the National Registry of EMTs certification exam.
Our students must also demonstrate a minimum standard of reading aptitude and must be physically able to perform the duties of an
EMT. CPR certification as a healthcare provider is also required.
